ஈழபோராட்டத்தினால் எமது தாயக மண்ணில் இருந்து 13ம் வயதில் கனடா நாட்டிற்கு புலம் பெயர்ந்த வேளையிலும், தமிழ்த் தாய் மொழி சார்ந்த பற்று இவருள் ஆணிவேர் போல் நிலைத்து நின்றது. எமது 'தமிழர்' என்ற அடையாளத்தை புலம்பெயர்ந்த நாடுகளில் தொடர்ந்தும் காக்கும் நோக்கில், மே 21, 2020 அன்று சிற்பி அக்கடமியை நிறுவினார் . ஒரே நோக்குடன் பயணிக்கும் சிற்பி அணியினர் ஆசிரியர்களுடன் இணைந்து, எமது அடுத்த தலை முறையை படிமுறைத்தமிழ் கற்பித்தல் முறையினைக் கொண்டு, தமிழ் மொழியில் திறமையான பேச்சாளர்கள், வாசகர்கள் மற்றும் எழுத்தாளர்களாக உருவாக்குவதிலும், தமிழர் வரலாறு, கலை, கலாச்சாரத்தை அவர்களுக்குள் ஊட்டுவதிலும், மிகுந்த ஈடுபாடுடன் செயல்படுகிறார் சிந்து அவர்கள்.

Sinthu's life began in Srilanka and transplanted to Canada just like my other immigrants. 'You can take the girl out of the country but can't take the country out of a girl'. Her passion and love for Tamil is deeply rooted and she wanted to share this passion with the next generation. She founded Sitpi Academy on a dream to sculpt the next generation of students to embrace their Tamil identity. She wanted our children to learn our beautiful Tamil language, history, and culture. Through Sitpi Academy and the 'Padimuraitamil' instruction method, along with SITPI team, Sinthu takes pride in producing proficient and confident speakers, readers and writers of TAMIL.

Rangeeth Paramanathan

சிற்பி அக்கடமியை நிறுவுவதில் றஞ்சித் ஒரு முதுகெலும்பாக இருந்துள்ளார். ஜேர்மனியில் பிறந்த தமிழன், தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பப் பொறியாளர், ஜெர்மனியில் நெட்வொர்க் ஆலோசகராகப் பணிபுரிந்து, தமிழ் மொழியின் மீதுள்ள நாட்டத்தினாலும், தமிழை அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்லவும், அல்லல் படும் ஈழத்தமிழருக்கு உதவவும், எண்ணிலடங்கா மணிநேரங்களைச் செலவிட்டவர். சிற்பிக்காக ஒரு சின்னத்தை உருவாக்கி, சிற்பியை சமூக இணையத்தளங்களுக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்வதில் பெரும் ஆதரவை அளித்தார். றஞ்சித்தின் தொடர்ந்த ஈடு இணையற்ற ஆதரவும், அர்ப்பணிப்பும் சிற்பியின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு இன்றியமையாதது.

Rangeeth has been a back bone in founding Sitpi Academy. A German born Tamil, An IT Engineer, living and working in Germany as a Network Consultant, for the love of Tamil language and for helping a greater cause of taking Tamil to the next generation and giving back to Eelam, he has put in countless hours and supported immensely in bringing SITPI to international platform. Rangeeth has exceptional visual creation skills. With his IT and designing expertise, he has created SITPI logo and launched all media platforms for SITPI and continues to produce all the social media posts and all other marketing materials, including for this Sitpi's 3rd Annual Show and Exhibition. Rangeeth's unmatched dedication and continuous support in technical, visual and all other marketing areas has been vital in SITPI'S growth in these 3 years. 

வித்யா அழகதுறை

Vithya Alagathurai

வித்தியா 2021 இல் SITPI அக்கடமி நிர்வாகியாகப் பொறுப்பேற்றார், அதன் பின்னர் அவர் அனைத்து நிர்வாக மற்றும் புத்தக பராமரிப்பு தொடர்பான பணிகளையும் திறம்பட நிர்வகித்து வருகிறார். இரண்டு அழகான பெண் குழந்தைகளின் தாய் மற்றும் TVI (தமிழ் விஷன் இன்டர்நேஷனல்) நிர்வாகத்தில் பணிபுரிந்த அவரது முந்தைய அனுபவம் மற்றும் பல தமிழ் நிகழ்வுகள் தயாரிப்பதில் உதவியது, சிற்பியின் நிர்வாகப் பணிகளை சிறப்பாக செய்ய வழி வகுக்கிறது.

Since 2021, VITHIYA has been SITPI ACADEMY'S Administrator and has been effectively managing all book keeping and administrative related tasks while raising two beautiful girls. Her previous experience as an administrator at Tamil Vision International (TVI) and her assistance in various Tamil events and initiatives, allows her to excel at her current role at SITPI ACADEMY. VITHYA's dedication in managing the enrolments and maintaining the books aids in a smooth yearly operation and adds great value to SITPI ACADEMY.

அபி கடந்த ஆண்டு மே 2022 இல் சிற்பி அக்கடமியில் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளராகச் சேர்ந்தார். சிற்பியின் 2வது ஆண்டு நிகழ்ச்சிக்கான ஒருங்கிணைப்பு தொடர்பான முக்கியப் பொறுப்புகளை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார். வெயிலோடு விளையாடு சிற்பியின் 1வது கோடைகால விளையாட்டு போட்டியின் வெற்றிகரமான செயல்பாட்டிற்காக இரவு பகலாக ஒரு குழுவாக அயராது உழைத்தார் ஆண்டு முழுவதும், சிற்பி குழு மற்றும் பெற்றோர்களுடன் அனைத்து தகவல்தொடர்புகள், வகுப்பு திட்டமிடல், நிகழ்வுகள் திட்டமிடல் மற்றும் சிற்பி அக்கடமியின் வருடாந்த செயல்பாட்டில் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க பங்கை வகிக்கிறார் எனது தமிழ் பற்று என்னை அனைத்து முயற்சிகளிலும் சிற்பியை எனது திறமைக்கு ஏற்றவாறு இயங்க வைக்கிறது.

In May 2022, Abi joined as a Coordinator with SITPI ACADEMY. She assumed key responsibilities in coordinating SITPI ACADEMY'S 2nd Annual Show. As a team, she worked tirelessly, day and night,to successfully execute SITPI ACADEMY'S 1st SUMMER MEET, வெயிலோடு விளையாடு. Throughout the year, She coordinates with the SITPI TEAM and PARENTS for all communications, class scheduling, event planning and she plays a significant role in the yearly operation of SITPI ACADEMY. Abi's love for Tamil is the driving force in giving her best efforts in all SITPI related endeavors.

தமிழ் வகுப்புகளுக்கு சிறிய வயதினில் சென்றதனால் இந்த மொழியுடன் சேர்ந்து வரும் பல அழகான விடயங்களை நான் கற்றுகொண்டேன். புத்தகங்கள், பாட்டுக்கள் 

கொண்டாட்டங்கள் போன்ற பலவற்றை நான் ரசிக்க கற்றுக் கொண்டேன். எனக்கு கிடைத்த இந்த அனுபத்தை அடுத்த தலைமுறையுடன் பகிர்ந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றதனால் தான் நான் தமிழை படிப்பிற்க தொடங்கினேன். இந்த அழகான மொழியை நாம் எப்பொழுதும் படிப்போம், கற்பிப்போம், வளர்ப்பபோம்.

Attending Tamil class from a very young age allowed me to be immersed in experiences related to learning the beautiful language. Understanding Tamil helped me discover the many hidden wonders of our beautiful culture through the form of music, books, festivities and etc. My beautiful experience with my mother tongue motivated me to share these experiences with those around me and the perfect way was through teaching Tamil. As a teacher, I learned the importance of passing on the language and keep our roots growing! We have a beautiful, rich culture attached to an authentic language and we must preserve and keep Tamil growing!

வணக்கம்! நான் 2020ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து சிற்பியில் தமிழ் ஆசிரியராக கற்பிக்கின்றேன். தமிழை படிக்கப் படிக்க அதின் முக்கியத்துவம், வரலாறு, பண்பாடு, பழக்க வழக்கங்களை தெரிந்து கொண்டேன். எனது சகோதரர்களுடன் தமிழில் கதைத்து, தமிழ்ப் பாடல் கேட்டு தமிழ்ப் படம் பார்த்து, தமிழ் கதைகள் வாசித்து, பேச்சு, திருக்குறள், பண்ணிசை, வாசிப்பு, சொல்வது எழுதுதல், பாட்டு போன்ற போட்டிகளிலும் வானொலி நிகழ்ச்சிகளிலும், மேடை நாடகங்களிலும் பங்குபற்றி, விழாக்களுக்குச் சென்று தமிழ்ப் பண்பாடுகளை தெரிந்து கொண்டேன். இதே போன்ற விடயங்களில் மாணவர்களை ஈடுபடுத்தி வழிநடத்தவும், தமிழ் மொழியையும் மரபையும் பாதுகாக்கவும், அடுத்த சந்ததியினருக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்வதற்கும் எனது ஆசிரியர்ப் பணி உதவும் என நம்புகிறேன். தமிழ் கற்பிப்பதால் ஒரு நல்ல சமுதாயத்தை கட்டி காக்க முடியும். தமிழனுக்கென்ற அடையாளத்தையும் இடத்தையும் அமைத்து கொள்ள முடியும். இதன் காரணமாகவே எனக்கு தமிழ் கற்பிக்க ஆர்வம் ஏற்பட்டது.

Vanakkam! I'm Biruntha Baskaran, a Tamil Teacher at SITPI ACADEMY. As a Tamil Canadian, my journey of learning and teaching Tamil holds immense importance. The encouragement from my mother to explore Tamil during my upbringing gradually kindled a deep connection within me. Through active participation in Tamil competitions, cultural events, and artistic endeavors, I began to appreciate the language and culture even more. Now, as a Tamil teacher, I realized the significance of preserving our rich heritage. By learning and teaching Tamil, I ensure the invaluable legacy is passed down to future generations. Moreover, teaching Tamil provides practical benefits, opening doors to professional growth and expanding horizons.

நான் தமிழ் கற்பிப்பதிற்கு எனது அன்புக்கும் மதிப்பிற்கும் உரிய ஆசிரியர் திரு. இராசரத்தினம் சுப்பிரமணியம் அவர்களே காரணம் ஆவார். இப்பெரும் எனது ஆசிரியர், எனது மகள் மதீசா மக்கிலன்ஸ்ற்கு இணைய வழி ஊடாக அவர் தமிழ் கற்பித்து வந்தார். அப்பொழுது தான் நான் அவர் கற்பிக்கும் படிமுறைத் தமிழ் முறையைக் கேட்டு ஆர்வமடைந்தேன். என் விருப்பத்தை நான் அவரிடம் கூறிய போது, அவரும் எனக்கு இருந்த ஊக்கத்தைப் பார்த்து என்னை ஊக்குவித்தார். பின்பு நான் அவரிடம் இணைய வழியூடாக ஆசிரியர் பயிற்சிப்பட்டறையில் சேர்ந்து படிமுறைத் தமிழ் என்னும் கற்பித்தல் முறையை திரு. இராசரத்தினம் சுப்பிரமணியம் அவர்களிடம் முறையாகக் கற்றுப் பட்டம் பெற்றேன். தற்பொழுது நான் கனடியத் தமிழ் சங்கத்திலும் மற்றும் சிற்பி அக்கடமியிலும் ஒரு தமிழ் ஆசிரியராகப் பணிபுரிகிறேன். தமிழ் எங்களின் அடையாளம் அதை நாம் இன்றைய சமுதாயத்திற்கு அறிமுகப்படுத்துவோம். 

I teach Tamil for the sole purpose of my love and respect for Mr. Rajaratnam Subramaniam. During the pandemic, he was teaching Tamil to my daughter Matheesa Mackielans, through an online platform. It was only then, that I became interested in the second language method he was using to teach Tamil. Rajaratnam sir recognized my motivation and encouraged me to join the teacher's training course and I attained my degree. It is the duty of a teacher to produce many excellent students. He inspired me and made me the teacher I am today. Currently, I am a Tamil teacher with Canadian Tamil Sankam and SITPI ACADEMY. Tamil is our identity and we will immerse it today's society.

நான் தமிழை சொல்லி கொடுப்பதற்கு, ஆர்வத்தையும் ஆவலையும் தூண்டியவர் எனது ஆரம்பகால தமிழ் ஆசிரியர்கள் இருவர், அவர்கள் தமிழை கற்பித்த முறை எனக்கு தமிழ் மீது ஒரு தேடுதலை உண்டாக்கியது . இவர்கள் கற்றுத்தந்த பாரதியார் பாடல்கள், கம்பனின் கவிதைகள், இலக்கண இலக்கியங்கள் என்னை ஈர்த்த விடயங்கள். எனக்கு தெரிந்த தமிழ் அறிவை அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கு சொல்லி கொடுக்க வேண்டிய ஆர்வத்தாலும், தலைமுறை தாண்டித் தமிழ் வளர்ப்போம் என்ற சிற்பியின் தொலை நோக்கு பார்வையோடு ஒன்றாக பயணிப்பத்தாலும், இன்று சிற்பியில் ஒரு ஆசிரியராக எனது பயணம் தொடர்கிறது ... 

The Tamil teachers I had growing up inspired me to teach Tamil. Their way of teaching Tamil made me search for Tamil, Bharatiyar songs, Kampan's poems and grammar literature. My continuous search inspired me to Tamil even more. My passion to teach the knowledge of Tamil to the next generation, traveling together with the sculptor's vision of cultivating Tamil beyond generations, inspires me to continue my journey as a Tamil Teacher at Sitpi...

நான் தமிழ் கற்பிற்பதற்கு காரணம் தமிழ் மொழியில் எனக்கு உள்ள பற்று. எங்களுடைய மொழியை நாங்கள் அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்ல வேண்டும், எங்களுடைய மொழி இப்பொழுது மெல்ல மெல்ல குறைந்து கொண்டு வருகின்றது. அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கு எடுத்து செல்வது மூலம் எங்களுடைய மொழியை இன்னும் வளர்க்க முடியும், மற்றும் அழியாமலும் காக்க முடியும். உலக மொழிகளில் எந்த மொழிகளையும் கற்றுக்கொள்ளலாம், ஆனால் தமிழர்கள் தாய்மொழியான தமிழை மறக்கக் கூடாது. தமிழ் மொழியில் உள்ள எழுத்துகளில் "ல,ள,ழ,என மூன்று எழுத்துகள் இருப்பது சிறப்பு. இந்த சிறப்பு வேறு மொழிகளில் உள்ளதாக தெரியவில்லை. பிள்ளைகளுக்கு தமிழ் கற்பிப்பது என்பது ஒரு கொடை என்று நான் நினைக்கின்றேன் அவர்களுடன் பழகும் பொழுது மனதில் உள்ள அனைத்து கவலைகளையும் மறந்து மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்க முடிகிறது. குழல் இனிது யாழ் இனிது என்பதம் மக்கள் மழைச்சொல் கேளாதவர். இது எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்த பழமொழி."யான் பெற்ற இன்பம் பெறுக இவ்வையகம். நன்றி 

The reason I am teaching Tamil is because I have a passion for Tamil language. We need to take our language to the next generation. Our language is becoming distinct with the next generation now. By taking it to the next generation we can further develop our language. You can learn any language in the world, but Tamilians should not forget their mother tongue, Tamil language has a special feature of having three letters, . This feature is not known to exist in other languages. I think that teaching Tamil to children is a gift, when you interact with them, you can forget all your worries and be happy. Let spread the world,the pleasure I received. Thank you

எனது தாய் மொழியாகிய தமிழ் மொழியினை புலம் பெயர் நாடுகளில் வாழும் எமது பிள்ளைகளுக்கு கற்பிப்பதில் எனக்கு மிகவும் விருப்பம். அது மட்டுமல்லாது தமிழ் மொழியினுடைய சிறப்பு மற்றும் முக்கியத்தினையும் அறிந்து கொள்ள வைக்கவும் எமது தமிழ் வரலாறு, கலை, கலாச்சாரம், பண்பாடு தெரிந்து நல்ல ஒரு தமிழ் சமுதாயத்தை உருவாக்க என்னால் இயன்ற ஒரு சிறிய பங்காக இதனை கருதுகிறேன்.

I am very happy to teach our Mother language. Teaching Tamil make a lot of positive changes in our community. I would like to encourage the younger generation to learn about our language's customs, religions, arts, and history. Teaching Tamil makes me happy and helps establish a connection to Tamil culture and lineage to its rich heritage. It will assist to shaping a person's psychological development, thoughts, emotions and personality. Im very happy to be part of this journey with Sitpi.

மதீசா மக்கிலன்ஸ்

When I first attended Tamil class, I was amused by how teachers taught their students. It made me wonder, how would I be, if I was a teacher? I would always ask to teach the younger students in my class, as I was a level or two ahead of them. My teacher would let me teach when she'd be marking work. The smile I saw on their faces when I taught them made me happy and that was the moment, I realized I wanted to become a Tamil teacher. Another motivating factor was that I wanted to observe the students' improvement, and in that improvement, I can see my success behind those smiles saying that "I did it". It's the small things that brings a smile to teachers' faces. These little steps led me to where I am today, enjoying what I am doing. Seeing the smiles on the students faces, their participation in class, the fun times we have together and many more. This is why I started to teach! 

நான் முதன்முதலில் தமிழ் வகுப்பிற்குச் செல்லத் தொடங்கியபோது ஆசிரியர்கள் தங்கள் மாணவர்களுக்குக் கற்பிக்கும் விதத்தைப் பற்றி நான் எப்போதும் மகிழ்ந்தேன். நான் ஆசிரியராக இருந்தால் எப்படி இருக்கும் என்று எனக்கு எப்போதும் ஆர்வமாக இருந்தது. வகுப்பில் ஆசிரியர் பாடம் நடத்தும் போது, எனது வகுப்பில் உள்ள இளைய மாணவர்களுக்கு நான் கற்பிக்க முடியுமா என்று எப்போதும் என் ஆசிரியரிடம் கேட்பேன், ஏனெனில் நான் அவர்களை விட ஒரு நிலை அல்லது இரண்டு நிலைகளில் முன்னிலையில் இருந்தேன். ஆசிரியர் வேலையைக் குறிக்கும் போது என் ஆசிரியர் என்னைக் கற்பிக்க அனுமதிப்பார். நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கற்பித்தபோது அவர்கள் முகத்தில் நான் கண்ட புன்னகை எனக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியைத் தந்தது. நான் தமிழ் ஆசிரியராக வேண்டும் என்று அப்போது உணர்ந்தேன். இதற்காகத்தான் நான் தமிழ் கற்பிக்க ஆரம்பித்தேன்!
